PANTAI BUYUTAN

Sudah tidak diragukan lagi bahwa Kabupaten Pacitan memiliki pantai-pantai yang sangat indah. Beberapa diantaranya yang sudah terkenal yaitu, pantai Teleng Ria, pantai Srau, pantai Klayar, dan pantai Watu Karung. Namun, di samping itu semua, masih banyak pantai-pantai yang tidak kalah indahnya berada di sepanjang garis pantai Kebupaten Pacitan. Salah satunya yaitu pantai Buyutan yang berlokasi di sebelah barat pantai Klayar tepatnya di  Dusun Widoro, Desa Kalak Kecamatan Donorojo.

Akses jalan menuju pantai Buyutan saat pertama kali saya mengunjungi lokasi pantai ini pada tanggal 1 Januari 2013 masih sangat sulit, dimana pengunjung harus melewati jalan bebatuan dan rute yang cukup curam karena sebagian besar jalan melum diaspal (mobil tidak dapat mencapai lokasi). Namun perkembangan terbaru, jalan menuju pantai ini telah banyak dibangun sehingga memudahkan para pengunjung untuk mengaksesnya. Sebagian besar jalan menuju pantai telah di rabat. Adapun rute yang dapat ditempuh menuju lokasi adalah sebagai berikut: dari pusat kota Pacitan ambil rute menuju Goa Gong kemudian pertigaan sentral parkir Goa Gong ambil jalan lurus (menanjak) ke arah Kalak atau ikuti petunjuk jalan arah ke Pantai Klayar, setelah sampai di Pasar Kalak ada pertigaan ambil arah kanan (jika lurus menuju Klayar), setelah itu nanti ada petunjuk berupa papan nama menuju pantai Buyutan, ikuti petunjuk tersebut.

Pantai Buyutan adalah salah satu pantai yang terindah di Kabupaten Pacitan dan saya merekomendasikan Anda pecinta traveling untuk mengunjunginya jika berlibur ke Pacitan. Namun satu hal yang perlu dipersiapkan ketika akan mengunjungi objek ini selain mempersiapkan mental dan juga fisik, ada baiknya para traveler mempersiapkan bekal yang cukup terutama air minum. Karena masih alaminya lokasi maka belum ada warung maupun toko di sana, jarak paling dekat ke warung warga sekitar 2km.

Klayar: The Singing Beach

Endless spread of soft white sand, artistic lime stone hills range at the end of the beach, waves break through the reef, making a relaxing flute like sound. Yup, That’s Klayar!

You could enjoy all of those in Klayar beach. The worth-visited beach is located in Kalak village, Donorojo Sub district, Pacitan Regency, East Java. The down side is that it is challenging to get to Klayar beach, one hour drive from Pacitan. or for about three hours drive from Yogyakarta. The roads are narrow but in good condition. The landscape is enchanting. One of them is the lime stone hill range combine with the greenery that sooth your eyes.

All the traveling struggle seems to be paid off when we get there. All your eyes could see the wide spread of soft white sand and the sound of the wave breaking the reefs at the tip of the beach, it just like the beach is singing. If you’re quite an adventurer, you could climb up the reef and witness the beauty of the horizon that borders with the Pacific Ocean, or you can observe the reef range below you.

Unfortunately, it is not advised to dip into the sea. It may look calm and beautiful but the waves are high and strong. Many beach-goers have gone missing dragged by the waves. Even fisherman cannot fish in the Klayar Beach area, since it is too dangerous. Unless you are an Olympic winning swimmer, better not to try your luck there.

However, despite the beauty it offers, the Klayar beach is still isolated. Food stalls are very simple and limited, and the lodging options are also limited. This is a pity, since the sun rise and sun set are absolutely breathtaking. You can enjoy it while sipping coconut drink and sitting in the shore witnessing the nature.
